Fiesta de Cabo San Lucas

Head to downtown Cabo San Lucas on October 18th to join in Fiesta de Cabo San Lucas, the celebration of the patron saint of Cabo. Festivities include a parade that passes through downtown’s closed streets. There are depictions of the patron, dances, music, and food. Lots of food! Street vendors set up around the area and serve local cuisine as well as international treats. The vendors and performances change every year which make it an enjoyable and unique experience each time. Best of all, there is no admission fee.

The crew of the Cap’n Jake saved the best for last by catching the winning fish moments before the end of the tournament taking the Day 3 Marlin Jackpots with a 341 lbs blue marlin, beating out the second place catch by more than 30 lbs. The Day 3 earnings were almost $80,000.

Bisbee East Cape Update

Bisbee’s East Cape Offshore Tournament began today in Cabo San Lucas. The actual competition starts tomorrow with the first of three days of fishing. Entrants spent today finishing registration and enjoying a nice drink with teammates and rivals alike at the tournament’s welcoming cocktail party which allows participants a final chance at relaxation before competition gets underway.
