Cabo Downtown Culture
If you’re in the mood for a little live music and a nice atmosphere, head to downtown Cabo San Lucas and visit Legends Bar. Run by the multi-talented Wendy Tosoff, the bar was opened earlier this year and is already a great place to spend the evening.
Wendy, a pianist and singer, spent several years performing on cruise lines and always hoped to open her own bar where live music would be an important part of it. Most often featuring light jazz and blues, Legends provides a relaxing getaway from the busy streets of Cabo San Lucas.
While you’re in the neighborhood, consider exploring the rest of the downtown area. Aside from the many restaurants and shops, there are several galleries to visit including the Wentworth Porter Gallery, Golden Cactus Gallery, and Galeria de Kaki Bassi. Each one offers its own unique displays of art but most of which features either local artists or local themes.
If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s close enough to downtown to enjoy all that it has to offer but not in the middle of all the tourist activity, consider Villa La Estancia. The only privately owned villas on Medano Beach.
